Cowardice and Incompetance

A few short moments ago John McCain announced that he will “suspend campaigning” and wants to postpone the debate so that he can “work on the economy.”

What an amazing cop out.

If EVER there was a time that people who want to be the leader of our nation should debate, on national television during prime time, the challenges, mechanisms and ramifications of the proposed bailout , it is NOW.

McCain’s cheap and transparent attempt to twist his cowardice at debating Obama into an effort “for the American economy” is laughable and silly. As Senators, of course McCain and Obama need to be involved and contribute to the solution… but if McCain can’t handle a crisis and a campaign at the same time, how will he EVER be able to handle a war in Iraq, global climate change, a failing economy, health care and health care funding reform, the potential failing of Social Security and and and… if it can’t multitask 2 items, he is certainly not the right man for the job.

I agree with you 100%. There is no doubt that if you are trying to be president, and you can’t handle more than 2 things at once, you are not the right man for the job. It is astounding how between the two of them, palin and mccain, they cannot handle any kind of challenge it seems. Mccain can’t walk and chew gum, as exampled by the taking a break from campaigning to work on the economy, and palin not doing interviews for the most part and barring reporters from many of her events.

Though, since they seem to only have 1 plan, and thats to “fight terror”, i guess they only need to be able to focus on one thing at a time.
