Ok so The Kaptain has a question for you VS guys.  He wants to add a SQL DB to his project and gets a lovely error.

<>"Failed to generate a user instance of SQL Server due to a failure in starting the process for the user instance.  The connection will be closed."

Now, the Kaptain has verified the SQLExpress is running and he can connect to it through the management studio just fine.  Just can't seem to add a DB to his project.

Microsuck tells him that it's due to having logged on via remote desktop since the last reboot which is total BS because we don't log on remotely to this

mac

hine and it was rebooted just for good measure.

Has anyone else seen this or have any idea WTF?

Good Lord doesn't this just figure.  The Kaptain searched for like 40 minutes, asked a couple of people and still found no answer then AS SOON as he posted the question on here got an answer that worked.

The Kaptain figured he would just leave this thread here in case someone else came along with the same problem.
