Is lophtcrack still the best prog for password recovery on windows?
I've got a friend that has forgotten all his passwords : ![]() Cheers, td thedarkness
OK, mission completion.
Here's what I did, I downloaded Proactive Password Auditor 1.70, trial version ;-) I booted the Windoze machine using a Knoppix CD and mounted the hard drive. I copied C:windowssystem32config onto flash and copied it onto my laptop and ran PPA on the directory I'd copied. It took about 5 seconds to find the Admin password (123) and about an hour to find the user's password (change). So it's all good and these people afre now convinced that it's fine to be a moron and forget your own password ![]() Cheers, td nutballs
In order to combat the "not a big deal to forget passwords" problem, charge a retarded amount of money. basically, charge the same exact fee you would charge to completely reinstall, and setup the system.
that will eliminate the password stupidity, or you will get rich. thedarkness
lol, you da man nuts, had that baby yet?
Cheers, td nutballs
nope not yet. scheduled a C-Sec for aug 7th though, since the baby is breach and my wifes BP is starting to increase indicating potential pre-eclampsia. Hopefully the baby will flip, but on the upside, if the baby doesnt flip, the insurance might cover the Csec. lol.

How much does a C section cost in USA ?
Like everything from cost of stay in hospital, doctors fees, etc ? nutballs
actually without maternity insurance its a package fee at our hospital. normal delivery is 4600 plus 1-2k for anesthesia if you have an epidural. Csec is 5400 plus the 1-2k. the OB has a fixed fee of 3200. So 8-11k total from bed squeaks to poopy diapers.
ironically, even if we had maternity, I did the math, and it would have come out to be about the same cost either way. plus the fact that regular health insurance kicks in during complications anyway, though after watching Sicko, and prior personal experiences, im not gonna hold my breath. thedarkness
Well, we wish you and the missus (and bubs) all the best with it nuts.
Cheers, td perkiset

Our best wishes and good thoughts for you and the JBomb, /p nop_90
11k as in $11,000
![]() my wife had our baby at http://www.themedicalcity.com/Site/MedicalCity/Home. aspxThat is a new hospital, they just built it 3 years ago. All told i think it was like 60K PHP, so like $1200. I was screaming about how expensive it was. That was for C-section. If you have normal delievry it like 20-30K. If you want you can just have it at home and give the mid-wife like 500-1000 php![]() Anyway who knows what might happen. In our case the baby was supposed to come out normally, but for some reason my wife would not dialate. So in ur case the opposite can happen ![]() grandpa
$11,000 for a baby birth
![]() ![]() hoping the best nb... nutballs
aint america grand? lol
it's like getting mugged too, "hi there! congratulations! Give me your money". vsloathe
Wow this conversation veered far off the original topic, but back on it:
TD, the best windows password recovery I've ever had the pleasure of using, which is completely free and does everything for you, is 0phtcrack. It's kind of what you made, a bootable linuxCD (knoppix I think), but when it boots up it auto-mounts your drives, finds your windows folders and loads rainbow tables and goes to town. Gets my users passwords, but quick. I've never had a user forget his password but when I first came to this job I did have to go behind some employees' backs and retrieve their admin passwords without them knowing (they wanted to be admin of their own domain, not a member of mine![]() thedarkness
Checked it, lookin' good dudasaurus, thanks.
