What app that you have programmed are you most proud of?  Could be an insanely crazy program that has 1900 lines or a few lines (but made you think, "damn, i'm da man!"Applause

Right now, I'm totally diggin my little script I've been workin on the last week.  Tells me what keywords are good to use (based on my ulta top secret algo).  Not the prettiest thing, but its damn nasty!

I just know nutballs is gonna bring up that pinger magigger checker Applause

pfft nah, that thing was out of annoyance.

I actually have quite a few things I have done that I am proud of, or at least was the moment it ran for the first time successfully.

I did what could be called a REDICULOUSLY LARGE web log processing project. web based. processed 1-3 gigs of logs per day, hourly. That was insane... and the sense of accomplishment was huge.

my first complete toolset for "other" ventures was pretty fulfilling as well.

My first full shopping cart.

my first bookmarking engine, that people actually used.

though i will say, not a single thing I have done when i was employed ranks up there.

I am most proud of my newest framework... a portion of it is in the List Manager images that I posted pix of in Argument against

Ajax

thread. It is deceptively easy for a user to do rather amazing things.

But my favorite routine (at least lately) is the "Color Fade" mechanism in the Image class I posted - I just love putting different starting and ending colors in it and watching it actually work. For a complete math flunky it makes me very happy.

Whenever I "borrow" some code, then modify it to do what I want it to do without breaking it.... I usually 'AM DA MAN!!!'

my latest moment of glory was to adjust a 'tinyurl' script so I can input a file of urls and it outputs a file of 'tinyurls'  Applause

Mostly proud of anything that works.

Lately been working to change the way I do web thingies.  I've been used to the single-shot approach.  You know, pour the powder in the barrel, ram home the ball, put powder in the pan, close the frizzen, cock the hammer, aim and fire.

I now have most of these thingies running in a semi-automatic mode.  Load the magazine, select the target, click fire.  Get coffee and grin a lot.  Applause

Pretty lame by the standards set here tho.

Well, 'proud of' means, to me, to enjoy showing it off and I would not want
anyone to see this code, but it is the most complex code I've written.  It's a
member to member messaging system, like pm's, for my dating community which
has about 1500 members.

Im most proud of the facial recognition software I wrote whilst at uni.
It was smart as fish and actually worked lol.
Used a variation on the eigenvecter algorithm to describe faces based on differences in other faces.

Second to that its probably writing my own cross platform graphics library.
It was pretty smart and had fast alpha blends n stuff.  I spent weeks optimizing them lol.

Web wise probably my biggest site, a PES community.  Doesnt make any money though.  Need to make more sites that do Applause
