Ok guys, need some help with this, I need to user PDFlib for an old legacy project here at work, and of course I have no idea how to get it to work. we've tried dl'ing the .so file and linking to it from httpd.conf however on restart = not working..
I think it has something to do with the cpanel we have installed. Tried installing through WHM as well, but for some reason it only comes back with version 2.1.4 rather than the latest. Any ideas of what could be goin on? perkiset
I'm posting simply because I don't want you to feel all lonely and such.
Have no idea about the problem tho, never worked with PDFLib. thedarkness
Is this for use with
PHPdude? it's not clear from your OP (more info please). If it's for phpyou might need to put the .so in the "extension_dir" fromphp.ini and follow this;; If you wish to have an extension loaded automatically, use the following ; syntax: ; ; extension=modulename.extension ; ; For example: ; ; extension=msql.so Also, check this out for dynamic loading http:// php.net/dlCheers, td deregular
Thanks TD, Yep its for
php, but tried that.. (sorry ignore my reference to httpd.conf earlier, i meantphp.ini)No joy yet though. Ive also tried installing through cpanel, but for some reason the only extension linked through cpanel is pdflib 2.1.4 which is a pdflib Lite version... (need the full one) At a loss :- ![]() thedarkness
