Hello all... I am please to report that after 1.75l of Captain Morgan's, a death-dealing hangover and enough chiklets purchased at the border to feed and clothe several families, PinkHat and I have returned.

Looks as though it's quieting down a bit - that is to be expected after the initial surge of a forum starting up. I'd like to ask that all of you, as time permits and you see an opportunity, simply let folks know that we are here. PR8 backlinks are always nice, but a light Chianti will do in a pinch. There is plenty other discussion on Syndk8 and other boards that could be held here as well and I'd love to see everyone bringing the discussion in so that we have the opportunity to grow our base, content and reach.

You're right NBs - Kapn - at the border of Mexico and the US they federales screw up the queue enough so that you spend at least a half and hour surrounded by mamas selling tortillas, men selling the WORST mexican chackis (sp?) money can avoid and of course, the ubiquitous impoverished children selling packets of Chicklets. It's rather pathetic and has become somthing of a running joke.
