Okay anyone ever hear of an application/routersetup/blah blah
that could take say to DSL connections where they choke you off at 44k upload max and Bridge them with software on both ends so that it would ap pearas a unified 88k?What are some terms i could use to research this? I remember hearing of this with modems. perkiset

I do it amongst neighbors' wifi
networks for some bandwidth-intensive operations that I do not feel comfortable subjecting my paid dedicated servers to.You can use iptables in Linuxto do it with multiple NICs or WindowsNetwork Load Balancing. I recommend the former, but to be fairnetload balancing is a lot easier to set up.jammaster82
Cool.. i always wanted a 1Terrabyte per second ganglia going into
my office! You sound like the guy to ask what he knows about ddw-rt software to chain wifi routers? vsloathe
I don't know that much about that topic. I have used a pre-made software hack to use a 54WRT router with my previous windows mobile phone to have a mobile hotspot for my friends and I to use Verizon's EVDO
network for mobile web/gaming, but that's about as far as I've gone. |
