"Most Basic Content Management" - I agree with MM - why pull the trigger on something as complicated as a CMS if the needs are most basic? What is it you are really needing to accomplish? What are your intentions?

learnenoughphpthat in the next year I will be able to get at least an ENTRY level position in the field. Really just trying to get down some of the basics of how to createphpenabled web pages. Maybe CMS isn't really what I'm thinking of. For example:Heres a sample page I found: http://www.thefurnitureshowrooms.co.uk/ What are the basics to create a page like that? Tell you what - I'll tar.gz that entire demo site and post it in the thread so that it's downloadable - you'll then have a complete PHPsite that is pretty damn simple to look at and see how it all works.Lemmee know - I think that's your best immediate bet. There's also a "Nutballs " thread going on right now - NutBalls is stretching out to add a MySQL and |
