I've just noticed, looking at one of the user's here site, that when I go it bounced immediately to phpMyAdmin - and DBDog said this as well. This does not happen on my rig, and I'm wondering if it's a "login type" or logged in issue... if anyone has some good symptoms on this it'd be great.

This is happening for me i have it installed on a hosting service.
It doesnt happen every time.
Also when i first installed it it didnt load correctly it was all scrunched up then i refreshed 3 times and it did work. It works now but every now and then it bounces me to full page phpmyadmin and something i have noticed it is a resolved IP address and not the name i gave pointing to my sql server...
Hope this helps?

Are you logged in to that phpMyAdmin, or is it the login page that it bounces you to?

Both have happened. It has bounced me to the login page when i wasnt logged in yet, and it has also bounced me to a logged in version of the page. I havent yet been able to isolate any other circumstances but i will keep my peepers open.
I will clear my cache and all cookies and try again. I will also install it on a seperate machine locally and see what happens there.

Thanks ... the more symptoms the better. The only time I have personally seen it is on your instance, although DBDog says it is still happening to him. I am testing with Safari, FF for Mac, IE and FF for Windows and I don't see it at all, so I'm wondering about a phpMyAdmin config piece...

i had this happen as well on Mosso (though the whole package never worked due to perms). I think they are frame busting to remove another hack-vector of spoofing pages.

May well be... but then it should break me all the time, no? I wonder if there's a way to tell phpMyAdmin not to worry about it...

Heh... but then I'd have to get shots and all, you silly west-sider I understand that PinkHat and your boss have blueprinted a potential intersection of our paths at a specific temporal milestone later during the current solar cycle, at a location where there seems to be an abundance of organic fermented liquids. Perhaps during the entropy phase of the confluence we could schedule some research...

Per our conversation, when it bounced to the phpmyadmin login page, I logged in, the went to the url for phpmyide and everything works...
So, it is all about having to log into phpmyadmin (ie getting the login page)...
BTW - phpMYAdmin version 2.11.3
..burping IPA...

EXCELLENT!
So the patch, for those reading along, is to go ahead and log into phpMyAdmin, then go to the URL for phpMyIDE again because its the login screen that is causing the bounce.
Thanks much for the find DBD!
