At the base of the BoardIndex.template.php the forum lists the number of people active in the last X minutes.
As profiles are a good source of traffic i wanted to increase the time that the links to the profiles stayed down there yet if i increased it to 100 minutes in the admin section i didnt want to show active in the last 100 minutes as it looks crap...
so after some discussion with EG i finally found where it all lives....
In your themes folder there is a languages sub folder
in there open index.english.php (Assuming your english language - or look for index.yank.php
)
search for $txt[140] and you can alter the minutes to a static value
also there is a whole stack of text values in there that may be nice to alter..... im like a kid in a
