Man things are moving fast. Granted this is beyond baby steps, but the ability for a chip to learn things a brain needs to know and them collaborate with the brain on command is freakin' amazing.

It's all mind boggling, yet to be expected.

Like ten years ago I saw a "health report" on the tv news where scientists
were creating (somehow) little tiny nano-somethings that could be planted
in the patients tissue and would repair cells or some shit like that.  Little
nanobots, basically.

The nanobot bit is also creepy. Just read an article the other day about the smallest motor ever created, essentially a spinning molecule that can be directed ergo, used for propulsion and navigation. Of what, you may ask? Well nanobots swimming about in your bloodstream, hunting out riffraff and doing away with it, that's what.

Yeah yeah, tech is cool and all. I'm considerably more worried about the asshats that will make USE of the tech than I am the tech itself. Robots don't kill people, people kill people.
