Online gamers have achieved a feat beyond the realm of Second Life
or Dungeons and Dragons: they have deciphered the structure of an
enzyme of an AIDS-like virus that had thwarted scientists for a decade.

Amazing, now what other major problems might be solved via a game?

Poverty? Hunger?  War?  God?

Space travel?  Deep sea travel?

Yeah Bomps, I saw that one as well - pretty incredible really.

The singularity is nigh.

I think its bad ass that the line between computer and man is getting blurred. Amazon Turk was my first notice of it, then my iPhone for offloading my memory.

Only thing that terrifies me is the metal cells they started growing.
