Hey Styx Smiley

I've been working with Kaptain Krayola on a pretty big system built on node ... I like it a lot.

Isn't there still the windows single user mode or safe mode or something? And was the OS encrypted? If it was you may be in trouble. If not, mount the drive in another machine to get it's stuff.

PM me a URL or two, let me take a look at what the page looks like for me.

With the new advanced packet filters they could do such a thing quite easily ... if you are delivering a page they just jump in and add a little to the bottom. It's not tough, but pretty shitty.

Ya, probably right, it's probably in the agreement that they can use your page delivery for their own means. Actually, a kind of interesting business model ... and you'd not care if your clients were spammers, you could STILL add ad content to the bottom and it's THEIR domain not yours that would get spanked. Hmmm. Parasitic spamming, Host is the vehicle. Interesting.

Totally confuse me, because you just added a value at the end of the URL. So what are you asking?

But on a side note, you say, "you want to pass that to several URLs..."

so I think you should consider cookies rather than just URL params.

Actually looking at that today, Bomps. Trying to figure the right resource for the most problematic parts ... very VERY HTML5y and CSS3ish browser-side database, websocks, gotta adhere to a particular look - it's a pain.
7  Level 1 Cache: General Discussion / All Things Microsoft / Re: How to place the same index.php file in a thousand different directories on: July 14, 2014, 03:38:33 PM
couple step process.

Go to the root directory you want to start from.
type find . -type d > dirList.txt

it will now contain all the subdirs under that directory.

Write a little PHP script that loads that and writes your index file into each. Something like:

$payload = file_get_contents('./theIndexFileToCopy.php');
$buff = file_get_contents('./dirList.txt');
$buff = str_replace("\r", '', $buff); // just in case this is a windows file
$lines = explode("\n", $buff);
foreach($lines as $path)
   file_put_contents($payload, "$path/index.php");

then you might need to go back to the command prompt and change ownership so that it works correctly under your web server

chown -R www *

Something like that.

LOL no, what I mean is that I do not have any kind of time to even look at your code right now.

I'm president of a small but growing medical cloud business and it consumes just about every minute of every day. I have a huge list of things I need to code for myself I can't even seem to get to.

So it's my bad that I just can't do the time right now.

Sorry man. I'm just not in this space enough to even give that much thought.

And I'm WAY no longer the guy you want to pay to do that. Bomps might (but he'd probably do it in PERL rather than PHP).

Send him a PM and see if he's still available for that kind of work.

We've gone all Red Hat, although we have some CentOS installs where we can be cheaper.

But personally, when I have something I want good and stable, I use http://www.freebsd.org.
