Trying to run some codes on my server but the code where always giving me syntax errors, till someone suggested i check if i have php5 installed. i ran a php.info script and my server has php 4 on it.... the thing is, can i update to php5 on my server or do i have to be depended on the provider's php 4? to simplify that question ---> i got my domain from www. web.de -----> web.de gave me ----> www. mywebsite.com, so is my php dependent on web.de or mywebsite.com Huh? if dependent on mywebsite.com, how can i upgrade from php4 - php5

LOL well done, looks ALMOST like a real post.
On a hunch, took a chunk of your post and googled it - that exact same post is on about a bazillion blogs.
