anyone else running out of memory with this one ?

Well, nevermind that ^ piece of code, it will just keep adding quotes, but I had it malfunction in a 'real' context.

I just read this.

I'm not sure what you've got going on, or why.

That code says essentually that forever (while (true)) take and input argument ($var) and put quotes around it and escape anything in it, put it into $var and go around again.

So that's not a memleak, it's simply creating a huge string - huger and huger until it would die.  Huh?
