Weight Watcher Helper: Lookup foods I am eating, add <these points> to my daily total

trademarked. silly isnt it. the formula is trademarked. so the only way you will see a weightwatchers calc on apple.com is from weightwatchers. you may see one for a short period, until they get the first C&D...

there are few weight calcs that I have tinkered with, and they are OK, but nothing great yet.

Lol.. isnt this just like Deal a Meal? iRichardSimmons...

Any one even started an iphone sdk app... i just got the emulator running on the macbook pro..
was wondering if anyone had any initial wisdom to impart..

I dont know why they dont make the iPhone just a couple tads larger like a mini tablet pc
so you could spread your fingers out and not have to scroll around on the safari ,or
fat finger j when you meant to type k...
they could just divorce the phone from the computer and have a little bluetooth earpiece that does the actual mic/headseat switchook phone only things... it would be cool to have just a little more screen /touch keyboard space..

Perkiset, i have been poking around the cache and couldnt help but notice your paranoia
of 'THEM' finding out who you are and what you do online , just curious is location services
off or on on your  iPhone?

I toyed, and downloaded all of the initial training videos from Apple which were a fantastic help. Are you an Objective C guy? Do you know how to use XCode? And how are you with the entire Cocoa framework? These 3 are the pointy end of the stick that you must address. Objective C is the language, Cocoa is the collection of APIs for both OS-X and the phone and XCode is the IDE. It's pretty damn big and will scare the shit out of you the first time you grok it all. Then you'll be like a kid in a candy store Wink

That is the current rumor. There are rumblings about a "phone" about 2x the size that will edge toward the final tablet computer. You can sort of see them meeting in the middle - the Macbook Air is moving towards the iPhone. Somewhere in there is the holy grail piece. I can't wait Wink

Off, Yup. No sense letting people get a head start on me via my phone...

Back on topic:

I am just tired of waiting for a damn SSH app. Telnet, yes - but I really'd like SSH. VS - is there any update on jailbreaking a 2.0 phone, being able to use the appStore and still get (other) apps on the phone? any thoughts here?

Part of the problem that i think is limiting some of the apps and accessories is actually the bluetooth.

I would love a keyboard and mouse, but... I dont think it can happen via bluetooth.
I have a sinking feeling that the bluetooth on the iPhone is voice ONLY. bluetooth has this weird spec of the things it can do, and it can be built on-chip, to do only the minimum it needs. This saves space obviously, but I also wonder if its a licensing issue?

I don't think there is any datapipe enabled via bluetooth on the phone. Don't know if there are any jailbroken apps that do data transit via BT, have you seen any VS?
