Hi all, I have actually lurked for a long time here and at syndk8 as well. Can't exactly remember why I just decided to register but there you go.

I like to program in php and recently have been getting really hooked on python. Looking forward to start contributing here but I am not really an active forum user. I have about a hundred posts on my most frequented forum that I joined 5+ years ago. But you may notice the odd reply from me here and there when something really gives me a lol feeling.

Welcome!  I know a lot of straight people who passionately love Pythons. Devilish

Seriously I've been looking at Python myself - along with a host of other open source platforms to free myself of the Microsoft, Apple, Oracle-like choke hold that capitalism maintains over free IT expression and creativity.  May share cropping prevail!
