Hello all -

I've been coding since 1976. I've programmed in so many languages that I don't even know where to begin. But there's been everything from a bazillion different dialects of BASIC, APL, a couple different assembly languages, C, C++, Pascal, Object Pascal (Delphi, Kylix), dBASE III, Clipper (Summer '87 - now THERE was a hot language...), Paradox, PHP, Javascript, SQL, bits of LISP and Prolog - I've even written several languages - my personal favorite was a robotics control language for the travel industry. My least favorite was a parsing language for telephone systems.

My goal with this forum is to bring together the finest minds I know, in a wide range of technical disciplines, for the purpose of centralizing help for smart technical people. To that end, if you know of a fantastically smart person please point them our way.
