i will be certain to be unhelpful regarding jQuery. it uses javascript which is icky and makes me feel dirty.

Dig the hell out of jQuery, but am only perhaps 30% strong. My largest trouble, having programmed against the DOM directly for so long, is simply re-seeing how things can be done in a jQuery kinda way rather than direct. When I get my arms around a project that clearly should be jq it ROCKS... it's just getting there that is trouble.
