Hi ! My name is Lyle. I go way back to the MUMPS days in the late 80. Currently I am a Cache DBA. I am a top down programer. Just learning the OO stuff.

MUMPS is short for
Massachusetts General Hospital Utility Multi-Programming System,
That went on to be M and all its different flavors, DSM (Digital Standard MUMPS) ISM (Intersystem Standard MUMPS) etc... It is part of what DBMS called Cache. It is very popluar in the Health Care Industry.
