Hello all,

I met Ed in the Apple Store and he invited me to join. I'm tech savvy, but not to the level that all of you are. He said he liked smart people in the forum, and we got into an argument about who he is to say who is and isn't smart ( ROFLMAO ), but I just took his invitation at face value.

I've been an Apple nut for about 2.5 years—they changed the way I look at computers and even got me over my fear of the terminal. My dad is a PC consultant and we've even had our stereotypical Mac vs. PC discussions. We still get along though!

I have a wife and two young boys (4 & 2). I enjoy writing and have a site called philologian where I write about life and my observances on it. I also have an intent to play guitar again—although I would really like to play bass. Every white person I meet plays guitar and it would be nice to lay down a thick groove, you know?

I'm also a part-time grad student, slowly working on a masters in Innovative Leadership. Funny huh? I couldn't do another business degree. I enjoy more theoretical stuff.

That's about it. I don't know how much I'll be able to contribute, but I look forward to learning a lot!

Almost worse than Dumbocrats and Repugnicans arguing... I completely understand. I have a brother who still drinks the M$ koolaid all the time.

Right on... don't wait man. Just do it.

Nice to have you here, and thanks for the heads up on the TimeCapsules!
