you already use the program that encodes to 264... handbrake. though thats for DVDs.
Ah... makes sense now how the iPhone gets such great video compression and display...
flash plays 264 now actually, and if you look at pretty much every video site out there, its flash. including..... YouTube. doi!
Though i am not sure if that video from youtube is 264 or flv. i think its 264?
Actually my goal is to abandon Flash - for example, we scoff, convert and play movie trailers for [my cinema supper club client] - but since I've used a Flash player that I munged up, it will not work on the iPhone, which is a forthcoming goal, I can feel it. So I'm wondering how to embed an iPhone playable vid and provide an embedded player on a site without using flash...
(sorry if that's a stupid question, I get the feeling that I'm missing something important here that you've said)
