English is one of the official languages here, but the english words do not mean the same thing

The laws are even more fun.
There is a combination of native law, spanish law (from when PH was a spanish colony) and american law (from when it was a US colony).
But there is still a lot of spanish laws on the books.

All of these laws contradict each other.
So to find out if something is legal or not, best to go to 5 lawyers.
Literally they will each quote different statutes.
Try and go with the majority opinion.

I was kinda silly and wasted my youth
I should have come here when I was like 16 and gotten married.

Then by this time I would have had like 12 kids.
My kids would have had a canadian passport to boot.

By this time I would have at least 3 kids over 18 which I could send to canada to work.
Having kids working overseas is like the ultimate ka-ching.
Then every month get on the phone, tell them what useless kids they are, how I slaved for them and that I need from each of them $200.
Ofcourse as the more of the kids get older ...

Having daughters is not totally useless either.
If they are good looking u can marry them off to foriegners.
That is a pretty good ka-ching too.
Then you can get daughter to convince husband to buy vacation house in PH.
Then u of course will have to look after house, and get daughter and foriegner to send money back for various repairs etc.

A better twist on this is to tell foriegner you will build beach resort on land.
Then you can get kick backs from the contractor.
Ofcourse since foriegner is really stupid he has no idea how much things cost and you can charge him 50% more.
Then once resort build, you move in the rest of your relatives.

Learning how to train foriegner is quite easy. It is rather similar to training a dog it seems.
First you tell him rubbish like it is dangerous to go there, this is mainly to stop him from talking to negative influences.
A negative influence is something like someone who will tell him how much you are scamming him.
Then as father in law, you could take foriegner to bar. Then after he screws up with some bar girl, you can indirectly bribe him by implying you will tell his wife.

Of course life is not easy.
There is much sitting around waiting for the remittances to arrive.
This is why you get foriegner to get a good entertainment system and TV.
And then on the 16 and 31 of month always huge lineups at the western union and banks.
It is important to that you keep yourself occupied. A mistress,eating or drinking is a good way to keep yourself amused.
