Im sorry i just dont even know what to search for here...

You have a business idea and you want to prepare this
package for an investor.. included are things like
how much it will cost to get resources/materials
and produce how much profit, etc.

Operations procedures for all the jobs in the company
will probably be in this packet...

The question is what is this packet of papers called and
is there a definition for it.... Anyone know?

Isnt this a standard thing and if it is what is it called
so i can look up a definition of what should be included?

I hope that makes sense...

It depends on how much $$$ is involved. What type of investor you are approaching etc.
If you are totally serious, then you should make a Prospectus.

There is a methology on how it should be set up. I have heard you can outsource it to an indian business student.

A friend on my wife, he made a prospectus on a 20 seat call center.
Basically 50+ pages of rubbish.
He wanted $2M in capital. Each share was $10K.
This was in the philippines, amazingly enuff he raised the money in 3 months Smiley
