Actually though the rule of the game is whats happening here. If your gonna sue a technology company for patent infringement, your an idiot if you dont think your gonna get sued right back, since afterall, you too are a tech company in the same space.

The general unwritten rule seems to be, use whoever's patents you want. But if you try to sue for infringement on yours, everyone and their brother is going to start suing you.

You're either an idiot or you've got Microsoft sized pockets. Palm goes after Apple, Apple counter-sues in defense. Palm probably prays Apple will settle for a small fee in comparison to the potential legal fees. It's just a modern-day pissing contest, imho Smiley

The big boys don't sue though was part of my point. Apple, ms, IBM, intel. They generally would neve sue each other, even though they infringe on each other constantly. It's a status quo thing I guess.
