lol - my six are *almost* enough. I've contemplated putting 2 more up (that's the default max in the Mac Pro) just for my full-time telemetry screens. But the FBI keeps coming by and checking radiation levels from my existing rig already, so I don't want to have to bother them anymore.

Thanks for the tip though - I wonder how that'd work on a notebook, and what the speed of the refresh is?

laptop is no different. if its got a usb port, it should work fine.
I wonder though if there is a 6 monitor OS limit? i would think there must be a limit.

refresh I am sure is fine. USB2 is fast enough to handle it. USB2 is 480Mbps. A full 1280x1024x24bit = 31.5Mb per frame. but that is only to the dongle. I assume that the computer side software is using something a little smarter than, "send the whole screen every time".
