This is really the last thing we should expect from our elected representatives.
It is extremely unlike them, in fact, contrary to their trusted position.


I think it's a dangerous political game. The bill must still go through the republican house
and it is said that rejecting a defense bill is political suicide. What the democratic senate
has done is screwed the republican house. The house can not pass this bill, but not
passing it makes them look very bad.
