A rare set of high-resolution readouts taken directly from the wired-in brains of epileptics has provided an unprecedented look at how the brain processes language.

Though only a glimpse, it was enough to show that part of the brain’s language center handles multiple tasks, rather than one.

“If the same part of the brain does different things at different times, that’s a thunderously complex level of organization,” said Ned Sahin, a cognitive scientist at the University of California, San Diego.

Yikes.

The patients are “just sitting in a hospital bed, looking at a laptop, and they’re jacked in, with wires right into their brain. And we’re listening to the brain cells talking,” said Sahin. “It’s fantastic that we cold get so close to the actual neural data. Compared to fMRI, it’s like a close-up, high-speed camera where you can see each beat of a hummingbird’s wings, versus taking a picture of the bird flying around a flower.”

It is very interesting.
Probably the advertising industry will be right on it Smiley

I know they where doing scans of brains to see what types of ads light up the primitive parts of the brain.
Now they can skip the scan part lol

I have to stop wasting so much time surfing the net  ROFLMAO ROFLMAO
From the above i found
"Obama Releases Torture Memos, Vows Not to Prosecute"

I just love the statements they make.

"It would be unfair to prosecute dedicated men and women working to protect America for conduct that was sanctioned in advance by the Justice Department," Attorney General Eric Holder said.

Ironically USA did not think it was unfair to prosecute men and women of Germany and Japan after WW2.
In nurenburg it was established the "just following orders" was not an excuse Smiley

Please stop exposing our hypocrisy.

It's hard on our sales of military equipment and the market recovery, in general FFS.

It's the only redeeming quality of Fox "News".  Show me anyone that can rival the massive degree of successful, self-serving, reality distortion they produce and I'll seriously go out and buy a Mac.

It's ON nop_90.... don't worry, it's been brought Grin
