lol So i need a publicly accessible AJAX app i can claim at least partial credit for with a client so I can actually get a chunk of work from them. Anyone willing to let me claim something? I have one that is on an intranet, but that doesn't fly... Anyone? sugar on top?

Yea my biggest problem is that so much of the stuff i do is in customer-only sections of sites. And until recently its for closed-door, security paranoid, financial institutions. I have a kick-ass AJAX search app, that I can't show anyone because it's admit only and the info is all NDA, so i cant even show it with me driving the show-and-tell.
I always wondered how gov-security dudes get private sector jobs? "so can you show me any of your recent work?" "no" "your hired!"

I don't show work man.
Never have.
On top of that, I release my stuff under the GPL, usually anonymously.
I'm a take it or leave it kind of guy. As in, you take my word for it, and if you're not blown away just kick me to the curb. No hard feelings. I'll be doing the same with you as a client.

Normally I am as well.
I get thrown these curveballs every now and then though from existing clients. Usually because they get a new CTO that wants to "make sure" everything is how it should be and needs excuses to be able to bring in their friends.
Not the case this time, but similar. I am worming my way deeper into a company, and starting to send up the warning bells with the higher ups.

lol. they didnt even ask.
I should have figured. Clients usually forget. I guess it must be an impulse for when they are talking to devs, and even when the dev is a known asset.
woot. AJAX calendar from hell, here I come!
