god dammit. i just wasted a goddam half a day because my brain wont let me move on until i figure out a stupid problem.

three divs, each with a few images in them
<div>image1 image2 image3</div>
<div>image1 image2 image3</div>
<div>image1 image2 image3</div>

In FF you end up with space at the bottom of each div, inside. Soooo.
you would think padding:0 would fix it? wrong!
so then you try every damn thing under the sun....
*{padding:0;margin:0;border:0;border-collapse:collapse;}

wrong!


so whats the answer you ask?

seriously?!?!?! WTF?!

the problem is on the BOTTOM of the DIV, but by floating LEFT it fixes it.
I understand why i think, but I dont care if it has some valid reason.

ITS FUCKING STUPID AND MAKES NO SANE SENSE.

I wish I could but I spend too much time  because you are 100% correct.

I'm getting better as I build my own standard libraries, but it is a MAJOR fucking hassle if your consistency minded.

had to just say it again. it kinda sucks the wind out of you. like you know when you go to drink something, you were expecting it to be cola, but instead it was iced tea, and how your brain kind of has a seizure because of it.
