Noticed some of my popup code not performing the way want it if a user has Firefox set to open windows as new tabs.  I move the popunder around to better center it - I did not want this to happen in the users main browser however. With the new window as a tab, that does not work.

Any ways to either force a new instance of the software and then open the window?

There are ways, but I think a popup blocker catches all of them unless you use one of those CSS interstitials.
