I don't know anything about snorkels/scuba i never go deeper then like up to my chest, i can not swim too well Smiley.
it stopped storming today, but the wind is still from the sea so the waves are still very big.
The water despite the storm is not cold.

Anyway I would hate to see what happens if there is a storm from the sea (typhon) and a solar tide at the same time.
(is that what they call it when the sun and the moon are lined up).

Not sure if owning a house by the sea is a good idea, but on the other hand if u live inland then u have to worry about landslides and it is too hot Smiley.
Also there are more mosquitos so u have to worry about malaria and dengue Smiley.

I live on the second floor so if there is a flood i will be dry Smiley

We call it a king tide. I live right on the water too nop, on the banks of a creek about two minutes walk from the beach. But I'd rather be here :-)

incredible view.
it's amazing how much people pay to live in crummy cities where you can't even see the sky let alone the ocean.
i could never swim in there though. too many sea monsters in the ocean.

Once you do your first 3.5km open water swim you get over that ;-)

You've got way more chance of dying in a plane crash, you afraid of airports?
