You just posted a comment to my blog, which is now running on Expression Engine. I have a question or two. Any problem posting a comment? did you check the "notify me of follups" (or whatever it says) checkbox? if so, did you get my followup via email? I just want to make sure stuff is working. thats it, and of course thanks for the content  |

Hey Nuts -
No problems, went fine although the CAPTCHA was almost useless, given how clean and easy it would be to defeat.
I did check the notify and received an email - and promptly mailed you back because it came in completely blank except for your real name/address and I thought it was from you... now I understand. You'll want to address that because I was blank about it, and it did not tell me that it was actually there to let me know there was another response.
I like the topic and enjoy your blog mang.

Talking of Expression Engine again - totally forgot to mention this CMS I found that might suit you Nuts, might be a little late now but check out http://www.silverstripe.com. The major flaw I can see is that it doesnt do hierarchical URLs, but other than that seems very flexible. DM BTW... blog url? Wouldnt mind being nosey |

i actually dont mind the lack of hierarchical urls. I will check that out. first glance is that it is pretty good looking. Again though the thing I am leary of with most open source stuff, is the lack of "real" tech support, which for client stuff, is pretty important.

Interesting effect: I keep getting all new records in my RSS reader for your blog... I assume you're doing work on it, but it seems somehow to clear my pointer with you and it looks as though you have all new posts (or at least a bunch of them)
