The Kaptain has some questions relating to connectivity for sending SMS messages to mobile phones w/o specific agreements with the carriers.  Seems some people are doing some really interesting things and the Kaptain wants to know how.

I am actually interested in this question too.

When I use systems like texting ChaCha, It doesnt even seem like a hard system to set up. Obviously the actual permissions and license's for anything official would be the hardest part.

there is actually a ton involved in setting it up from scratch (Believe me i know) and getting your own short code is a huge ordeal.  there are, however, services that provide connectivity and if you get serious about doing it let me know because i can hook you up as I have built one from the ground up Smiley
