for all apache knows if you just open up ms dos
and type

telnet www.google.com 80
then paste this:
Code:
GET /index.html HTTP/1.1
Host: www.google.com
Accept: */*
Accept-Language: en-us
User-Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.0)


it will send back the html for the home page... none the wiser
