I just got a VPS running CentOS.
I took the lazy route, and used Plesk to set up a new domain.
I then uploaded my code via FTP to the new directory for that domain.

But when I "preview" via plesk, it won't parse the PHP, and instead just spits it all out as as HTML/text.

What did I miss? or does the plesk preview not execute/parse php?

If you don't have the app-type set up in Apache then you'll get that sort of thing.

Check your .htaccess file, it might be blowing things up.

and this, of course, is why you always drop your passwords outside the document root.
(Had a host blow up the server once so all the php was exposed! eek!)
