Ok this is a handy command screen

I used to use & to drive it into the background
but with screen you can detach logout and then relog back in very cool

I used screen all the time, it was all I knew.  Then you taught me nohup.

But yah screen is cool cuz you can bring any certain process back to the foreground and stare at it.

well i wish you had of taught me screen Smiley

nohup is good when u are running production
problem is that with crappy net, when u are debugging, if u disconnect u lose everything Smiley
screen u can reconnect.
