Pretty cool, they have screenshots of the progression of the modern computer OS (or at least the ones that are widely used). I was kind of bummed they didn't show the latest Gnome, but KDE 4 is pretty decent. Actually, KDE 4 is probably overall a better windowing manager than Gnome. I'll admit it.

Notice the hierarchical grouping, where Vista is placed under OSX, which is itself placed under KDE 4?

Though I've heard KDE4 is like a trophy wife - awfully pretty to look at, but high maintenance and refuses to work.

Pretty cool. I had forgotten that NeXT was out before Windows 3 - arguably the first really usable Windows (actually, I thought 3.1 was the first really production ready version). Also forgotten that, regardless of the coolness and capability of the kernel, OS2 was one ugly thing.

the latest gnome looks like the last gnome. which looks like the one before it. if you didn't see pictures a few years apart you wouldn't know it changes. i really want to like kde 4, but the last time i tried it it was very buggy. i am installing 4.2 now. we'll see if she breaks my heart again.
