Yeah man ... disks of the day had a cutout on the right side (looking at them) where a small optical sensor would see if the disk was write protected or not ... you could write protect a disk by simply putting a piece of tape over the cutout ... or you could enable writing on the back side of the disk by simply taking a hole puncher and making a cutout at the exact same place on the other side. Ooooooh! The hacks of the day!

that was the funniest attempt at creating an expanded product line.

Hey! We could sell the same exact product with only 1 extra hole in it, making it cost ZERO, but we could charge twice as much since its twice the capacity!

You know how many dumbfuck friends I had who bought double sided disks?
But then the 3.25" plastic jobbies came out. Only fit 1 way into the drive, but thankfully they were doublesided period.

green screen. lol @ PET... My eyes are still fucked up from that thing.
