@ITTO: perhaps I'm missing something - what is it you're showing us in that image? What is the UnDocFeat?

RAM anyone?  Wink  The "showstopper" bug (described as such by reports of the issue) has to do with a "massive memory leak" when you perform a chkdsk /f on anything but the boot partition.  So glance again at the picture and notice that 3% CPU is being used by chkdsk (top process) and 89% of the RAM is already gobbled up.  This will continue, predictably, until a blue screen o-death presents you with the undocumented feature - a shiny new blue screen.

But thank god all QA employees at Monoposoft are certified  ROFLMAO  I hear they're offering a "buy one get one free" Labor Day special for all certifications of equal or lesser value (limit one per customer)  Roll Eyes

Oh yeah, it made it 10% of the way through stage 4 of 5.  Stages 1-3 usually finish in seconds, stage 4 usually takes a few minutes (on a terabyte drive) and stage 5 takes roughly the lifespan of a Shar-Pei to reach 50%.

Off to San Jose now.  Big launch this week of the email marketing app I wrote these past few months.  It's looking pretty solid and I'm totally excited for the public release.  I'll show you a demo sometime if you want.

Back in a week - prolly not posting too much here in the next few days.

I would love to change the world, but they won't give me the source code.

Thanks ... I did see the RAM usage but din't know if that was that extraordinary (ie., if there's that much lying about and a process can use it and all).

Be safe @ SJ. Have a great week, talk to you soon Smiley

Have the dicks over at MS figured out how to let you rearrange things in the task bar yet?  Having to open your apps in the order you want them to appear in your task bar is silly (then again maybe The Kaptain is the only one that gives a shit which order his tasks are in on the task bar)
