Now this is really an About Time moment, similar to when Steveo finally realized that Apple was not the only people qualified to write apps for the iPhone.
MS has finally released an SDK and their blessing for folks to go after development with the Kinect. I can't WAIT to see what people come up with. Personally, I'd like to see someone disconnect it from XBox and make it pure USB or something with a kit that allowed for connection to other systems. Imagine having one peeking out from above your monitor watching for certain actions, passing them in even simply as keyboard/mouse movements or macro'd items.
