actually i would go mac, except that my machine is still smokin fast and about a year old, and i would have to spend money to buy a mac. money is currently tight (famine mode). Probably when jenny needs a new machine, we will both upgrade, or when the feast begins again. But since she is running a dual proc G5, its gonna be a while most likely.

though the idea of E-baying stuff has crossed my mind.

I'm at 10Gigs in my 8 core box and "heaven" would be an understatement. The box was $2799 to start (2G ram to start) and I used Crucial to get more. Incredibly great investment because I am must faster and more efficient.
