i love the way you tube presents
the neuron bubbles of content
related videos.. how would a 3d
table look in the database for this?

 how would you db some
neural connections like this..

contentid, visited before, visited
after, times visited,how would you
model it ...  Huh?

like if a page had a list of 50 subjects
that it talked about and you parsed the
keywords in it.

then the links in that page shared some
of the keywords, then there would be
a strength record of 1 added for all
similar keywords?  any thoughts in the ether
on how the tables might look and the mechanisms?

Sorry, go to you tube
watch a video,
 i recommend one aboutl
sassy bear ... Wink

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LJDltORBsUc

hit play, go to full screen mode then
click the little triangle with circles
in the bottom left , then watch video
and at the end you'll be in this,
little flash thing where the bubbles are
like neurons have little neural connections
to other videos just like what you watched... its sweet!

i was just trying to stimulate some conversation
about how they may have diagrammed the
tables and what types of mechanisms track the
content relation across the neurons.

i hope that makes more sense... D'oh!

I'd imagine its simply tag based - but I have to say that is awsome!

I agree - a tag based full text search that would give you a numeric "proximity" value to the original video in the middle. I think the radial layout is just a quick math to make it pretty, like a scatter chart.

Nifty notion, have to see if that makes any sense in some of my projects.

well yes, but I'd shape the bubbles more like testicles. More of a hanging scatter chart, so to speak.
