Just had an interesting challenge with the Citrix receiver, wanted to capture it and post for others.

The challenge was that one of our clients has played with Safari, FF, Windows IE, FF a LOT and somehow managed to get the Citrix.ICA files remarked such that when clicking on an application icon in Safari it kicked off Parallels.

There are a couple ways to pull this off, but the easiest I found (and it worked like a charm) was to go into terminal, then touch a file named dummy.ica on the desktop. Then Get Info on that file, select Open with and the Mac version of the receiver not Parallels, then select Change All.
