Is there any legit way for developers to access Google search results? They have a lot of different APIs but for some weird reason (I wonder what......) there's no API for search results. There's API for desktop applications to access search results and my gut feeling is that you could extract results from those APIs with some "hacking". Does Google monitor those custom website search boxes? It fetches everything with javascript so it doesn't take a whole lot of skill to scrape that. I was once part of a project where we extracted all results included sponsored ads from Google custom search. But that again goes to dark side and for this project I'm looking more legit ways.
