This is apparently what the CrunchPad eventually resulted in: http://4sp.in/2oH

Looks decent. Purely a web-surfboard.

We're going to see some really cool stuff in the run up to Apple's offering methinks.

Thanks nuts - good read.

$500 though for a thin client ain't exactly gonna pull in the mainstream. Could buy a laptop for less which does more.

I completely agree.  But I think this device has a shot at success just riding on its cool factor.  It's pleasing to look at, as my moist towel suggests.  Sometimes an overpriced, inferior device can ninja its way to market leadership.

The Wii has some experience with that one Wink

All rumor and speculation. A table that is somewhere between 7" and 13" (although it's getting more prevalent that it's 10.1) that runs either full OS-X or the iPhone OS or something else, that will either be with 3G or not, and will certainly be accompanied by earth shaking graphical presentations of magazines. Or not.

The rumor sites are all hot and bothered, but there's really little to hang your hat on. They are DAMN good at keeping their secrets.

Now that's interesting choice of name. "Joo" means "yeah" in finnish and all the teenagers reply "joo joo" to their parents when asked to do something... so joo joo basically means "yeah yeah i'm never going to do what you just asked me to do". Now just imagine all the hidden psychological anger in parents related to that phrase Cheesy
