300MB download versus the 8GB image released by Dell's engineers.
Supposedly has support for a broader range of hardware.

Downloading the iso now. Probably will try it on one of the Asus netbooks. (But it might not replace Easy Peasy, which I installed last week on the old 701 4G units and is working great.)

Doooood! That's quite a leap of faith, leap off a cliff that is. Damn that sucks. Of course I'm one to talk trying to dual boot Ubuntu & Vista on a RAID0 stripped set of boot drives.

I read about this problem and people are CAT5ing it for now. I have the image and plan a USB boot attempt when I come up for air.
