Yeah we have the same package ITTO.

It's not really 50MB down, and they throttle the shit out of you if you make any kind of use of the full pipe. At least in Massachusetts, that is. What I mean by that is that I cannot have 2 torrents running at 1MB/s (and generally, that is the speed at which torrents go for us), have the wife streaming Hulu, and have me with 17 open SSH sessions while playing 2 online games while I have 3 servers um...saturating the bandwidth in...other ways. The problem is that this is a typical weeknight. We're nowhere near maxing 50MB/s down, probably closer to 12MB/s down, and they are just throttling us CONSTANTLY. It's ridiculous. I've called them on it a couple of times already. The magic words are "the next correspondence will be from my attorney".

I believe ITTO might have found a good working deal over there...

Can't take credit for disbelieving the deal my girlfriend actually found  Embarrassed

I wonder if the fledgling net neutrality movement could possibly address this issue as well.  It's like advertising gas at $3 a gallon, then raising the price when people pump 10 gallons in a row

I would love to change the world, but they won't give me the source code.
