This is contrary to what NBs is trying to do, but it's really interesting to me.

This group is creating an SSD system that you can add daughter boards for up to 2T storage that sits right on the PCIx bus - not through SATA or even at SAS speeds - it's bus speed, which is how the Air goes so damn fast. Going this direction could give my aging Pro a few more years methinks ... I hope it comes out.
