At $270.50 in materials and manufacturing costs, adding $20 for warranty coverage per unit making it $290.50 total, I'll bet they bring the price down at some point. They always have, frustrating early adopters but doing it anyway. Also, their margins get much better the more you add to it. The 16GB of RAM costs Apple a whopping $25.00! Nice markup for 32GB and up versions
